Under the Right to Information Act, 2005, Telangana State Government Constituted
Telangana State Information Commission on 13-09-2017.
The jurisdiction of the Commission extends to all Telangana Public Authorities.
The Commission as a Quasi Judicial body deals with the Complaints and Second Appeals filed under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
The Commission is functioning with Sri Buddha Murali, Sri Katta Shekar Reddy, Dr Guguloth Shankar Naik, Sri Syed Khaleelulla, Sri Myda Narayana Reddy and Dr Mohd. Ameer, State Information Commissioners.
Sri Buddha Murali is the State Chief Information Commissioner(FAC).
